July 24, 2010: Girls Rock! Indianapolis Campers’ Show
After a week-long crash (but productive!) course in Rock n Roll, self-esteem, song writing and all that is awesome at the first Girls Rock! Indianapolis summer camp, the rockers of the camp in their respective newly-formed bands will put on a showcase for parents, family, friends and members of the community–everyone is invited!

June 18, 2010: Deadline for applications for GRI Rock Camp
We’ve been busy sending out acceptance letters and putting the final touches on our inaugural Rock Camp next month. Sad to say, but we will not be accepting any applications we receive after this Friday, June 18. All applications are located in the far upper left column of the site.
So, while there is still time to apply, please hurry!
Let's Meet PBS Kids in the Park on June 12, 2010
Come Check out Girls Rock Indy! at WFYI’s Let’s Meet PBS KIDS in the Park, Saturday, June 12 from 10 am to 4 pm in Military Park in White River State Park. This FREE, one of a kind family festival is entirely for kids! We will have a booth with a rockin’ educational activity, so make sure to stop by and see us!
$200 Fee for Girls Rock Camp
Great news. Due to wonderful community support, we’ve lowered our tuition fee (but not our rocking-out standards, by any means) from $300 to $200 for the week. Please spread the word and remind girls they can download an application here on the site.

Fundraiser Event at the Metro
Come out and rock out for a great cause-Girls Rock! Indianapolis. This will be our main benefit for the month of April, so we are hoping all of you 21 and over can join (don’t worry, we’ll be having an all ages one soon!).
Metro Rising is helping us out and bringing Upshot and Neon Love Life to the stage at the Metro on Mass Ave. While cover is free, we will be asking for a $5 donation for Girls Rock! There will also be Girls Rock merchandise on sale that you can purchase–all proceeds will go directly to the camp!
Drinks are cheap and plentiful at the Metro 
Music will start around 9. Hope to see you all there!
