Girls Rock! Indianapolis’ largest annual program, summer camp, gives campers a week-long crash course in instrument instruction, songwriting and musical collaboration. Our day camp is open to girls, non-binary and trans youth, ages 9-16.

Our workshops and lessons incorporate curriculum on self-care, empowerment and social justice through the lens of music education. Camp culminates with a Saturday Showcase in which campers will perform their original song with their band before a live audience.

Our 2021 summer camp will take place in-person at Camp Sertoma.

Campers do not need to have any prior music experience. Instruments are provided.

Camp tuition is $325.00 for one camper to attend one week of camp. Financial aid is available.

We understand that circumstances change, but we rely on having exact numbers of campers to form camp bands. If you must withdraw from camp, please let us know as soon as possible.

In the event of illness or family emergency, we will review refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

The Amplifier program was introduced in 2017 as a counselor-in-training program for older and returning campers, to expand their music and leadership skills. Amplifiers serve as mentors for younger campers and receive exclusive access to leadership workshops, activities and experiences.

The Amplifiers program is open to high school-age individuals who have previously attended Girls Rock! Indianapolis summer camp. This experience is limited to 10 campers for each camp session.

In addition to summer camp, GRI partners with community organizations to bring our mentoring and music education programs to youth around Central Indiana.
